Nieurlet and its Booneghem marshes

Nieurlet - 01-10-2016 - MAO (11).JPG

Nieurlet, a village bordering Saint-Omer, is home to the listed Booneghem ponds. Recognized by UNESCO three years ago, the site is part of the “Caps and Marais d’Opale” Regional Park.

Last marshes in France still cultivated, this site offers unsuspected peculiarities.

There is nothing like a boat ride to discover the site, as well as its people and their particular way of living, or even a family outing in a pedal boat to discover it otherwise.

Come and discover this special atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else.
